LCAV believes in guiding our students for future careers in healthcare by preparing them with a modern, industry-focused education. We have solidified partnership with numerous local NGOs, universities, and secondary schools to create magnet school programs on health, wellness, and technology. With the assistance of private and federal grants, we are active in two school curriculums for SY 2021-2022 in Washington, D.C.
Beginning with a weekly course for middle schoolers, LCA Vantage will introduce students to an overview of health and wellness topics and the technology used in healthcare for administrative, clinical, and facility needs. The course will also include the Digital Storygame Project (DSP), allowing students to create their own real-world simulations to develop design and coding skills for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) subjects. The Parker System will be used in the classroom providing real-time engagement with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and patient care management portals.
LCA Vantage is committed to not only enriching every student’s academic career through these school programs, but also their overall enthusiasm about their individual health and wellness.
